2013 Easter Egg Hunt Registration

Time: 1:30 PM to 4 PM
Autism Empowerment is EGG-CITED to team up with The Miracle League of Vancouver, Washington to host the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Acceptance of All Abilities Who May Attend? – Open to individuals of all ages on the autism spectrum or with ANY special needs. Also open to siblings and families. Please pre-register online! Cost: FREE!! Donations appreciated but not required.We are both 501(c)(3) non-profit public charities.
Where: McKenzie Stadium – 2205 NE 138th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98684, behind Evergreen High School. Bring a bag or basket to collect eggs and a positive attitude!
When: Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (Gates open at 1:30 p.m.) Rain or Shine! Details: We will have multiple hunts promoting the theme, Acceptance of ALL Abilities. Hunt times depend on age. The first hunt will start at around 2:00 p.m. This year, upon request an optional area will be set up for those who have wheelchairs or walkers that prefer a less crowded hunt. We want everyone to get eggs. We want everyone to be treated with respect and have a chance to connect with new community friends. Thank you for your help in making this a fun family afternoon for all!
Eggstra Event Fun: The Easter Bunny, Alexander Master of Marvels (magician), Patricia “Pockets” Bunnell (balloon twister), the Portland Winterhawks cheerleaders, activity tables and more! Photography is available but feel free to bring a camera.
Resources & Community Connections: We have invited many cross-disability agencies and community partners in the Southwest Washington and Portland Metro area to display and provide resources. Special guests also include Courtney Freitag to launch the Premiere issue of Spectrums Magazine (Freebie!) Every family receives a goody bag with a FREE Resource Guide and educational material.
