A skier for almost 30 years, I have always wanted to stay at Alta Crystal Resort, the snug-looking group of cabins just 7.5 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. When it comes time to soak the sore muscles I like the idea of the resort’s hot tub and 90° heated pool. I am also attracted to fun stuff, ping pong or foosball, in the 1920’s recreation lodge. If we have the energy we can build a snowman or throw snowballs in the recreation field. The resort also offers s’more-making at a bonfire under the stars, movie night, karaoke, cookie party and other family-friendly events. Evening activities are offered on winter weekends and every night during holiday periods.
