America’s Wild Rivers Coast Art, Wine and Music Festival

Whether your interest is fine art, wine tasting, experiencing gourmet treats or gazing out over the majestic Pacific Ocean, the Gold Beach Chamber of Commerce’s 26th Annual America’s Wild Rivers Coast Art, Wine and Music Festival presented by Rogue Federal Credit Union is the place to be.  This year’s event will once again be held at the Event Center on the Beach in Gold Beach, just a short walk away from one of Oregon’s finest beaches.

This two-day event, scheduled for May 18 and 19 promises to be the event of the year.  One you won’t want to miss.   Wine connoisseurs know that Oregon is producing some of the finest wines in the country, many of them coming from southern Oregon.  The exciting news is that 15 of them will be at the event ready to talk about wine production and share a taste or two with you.  This year’s line-up includes Abiqua Wind, Bradley Vineyards, Depoe Bay Winery, Eliana Wine, Grizzly Peak Winery, Henry Estate, Marsh Anne Landing, Misty Oaks Vineyard, Noble Estate Vineyard & Winery, River’s Edge, Season Cellars, Shasta View Vineyards, Sienna Ridge Estate, Tesoaria Winery, and Wild Rose Vineyard.  Brandy Peak Distillery, a locally-owned distillery located on Carpenterville Road, will once again serve tastings of their award-winning brandy.

And introducing Arch Rock Brewing Company, local Curry County-Gold Beach brew enjoy any of their three flavors in the festival’s Brew Pub.  So, if you just can’t get into wine, there’s no reason to miss this year’s event where fabulous brews such as Jefferson State Porter, Pistol River Pale Ale and Gold Beach Lager await.

One admission ticket is good for the entire two-day venue.  You may need all that time to fully experience everything the venue has to offer.  Come early and take your time visiting with each winery representative. They all have fascinating histories and stories to tell.  After tasting, grab your favorite glass of wine or brew and browse through the many art displays offered by some of the finest galleries and artists in the region.  Take a tour of the flower show. Or, just sit and relax and enjoy the music.  This year’s music lineup includes Ferguson Brothers, Homemade Jam, Humbug Mountain Boys, Left Coast Jazz Trio Ensemble and Pistol River Trio

Admission for the two-day event is only $10.00 and includes a commemorative, limited-edition wine glass (if you are one of the first 1,000 attendees), a complimentary wine tasting and a free raffle ticket.  Saturday hours are 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. and Sunday hours are 12:00 noon through 5:00 p.m.
