Bellevue Botanical Garden’s fuscia display knocks your socks off with color

One of the most varied and colorful displays in the Bellevue Botanical Garden is the Fuscia Garden.
It was redeveloped in 1992 and now after two decades the some 100 varieties are gi-normous and laden with the most amazing and delicate flowers you can imagine. Each plant appears to compete with the bedazzle-power of its neighbors for “Best of Garden.”
Visitors can be seen admiring the lovely and phantasmagoric flowers. Some flowers remind me of secret gardens unto themselves. Others remind me of fancy snap dragons that can open and shut their pretty mouths.
Fuscia colors tend to dwell in the pinks and roses but not all. You will see yellow, gold, orange, purple and even teal-colored fuscia blossoms. With a long bloom and so many varieties vying for attention, the garden is a great place to lose yourself in flower photography.
And, I promise, you will have a hard time picking your favorite photo and your favorite flower!
