Beyond Van Gogh makes masterpieces come alive

Beyond Van Gogh at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland is an immersive experience which breaks barriers by incorporating both still and moving art.

Masterpieces, now freed from frames, come alive, appear, and disappear, flow across multi-surfaces with a minutia of details. The show is projected on every surface around you accompanied by a musical soundtrack.

Using his dreams, his thoughts, and his words to drive the experience as a narrative, visitors move along projection swathed walls wrapped in light, colour, and shapes that swirl, dance and refocus into flowers, cafes and landscapes.

Beyond Van Gogh is an immersive experience showcasing over 300 of the artist’s works. It was created by French-Canadian creative director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s Normal Studio.
