Girls Night Out! Saturday, September 28th, is the day women wait for all year long. The kids are back in school, the routine is in full swing, and it’s time for mom to kick up her heels. What could be better than a night on the town with your girlfriends in charming, historic Downtown Camas where a champagne garden, a street faire, a “just your style” fashion show, the Cougar Comic, comfort food appetizers, a photo shoot, a gift card giveaway and an inspirational talk are all being prepared to make your night a memorable one
The evening’s GRAND PRIZE raffle is round trip air fare valued at $1250.00 with no restrictions and a $500 hotel voucher. Paris Hotel in LasVegas anyone? In support of local independent businesses and the personally focused cancer organization called Pink Lemonade Project, event participants will receive FREE tickets for the GRAND PRIZE raffle for purchasing items in town, and the proceeds from sales will directly benefit women needing emotional support while undergoing cancer treatment.
The gala gets underway at 4pm. Have your escort drop you off in front of the Liberty Marquis wearing your vintage glam (entry into the gift card giveaway for wearing one fabulous vintage accessory). Check in at 304 NE Birch Street at Journey Church where event registration is being held. The first 50 to arrive on the scene will receive a FREE pink champagne drink ticket. There you can pick up your complimentary pink shopping tote and passport to all the specials being offered at participating merchants like Camas Antiques, Bloom Organic Body, Salon Magnolia, Lizzabeth A, Bella Vita Boutique, Painless Ric’s Tattoo Studio and Deja Vu Ladies Consignment.
After the cocktail party, fashion show and street faire on 4th Avenue, enjoy an inspirational talk by Lifestyle Expert and cancer survivor, Krista Colvin on “Turning Lemons into Lemonade.” Several gift cards will be given away to get the shopping spree started around town. Visit cute boutiques and find treasures for your home all in support of two great causes: independent local businesses and Pink Lemonade Project.
The City streets don’t roll up until midnight. After the raffle drawing at 8:30p back at the church, plan to close down the town at Happy Hour until 11p at downtown restaurants and lounges.
