Concerts, movies to make summer appearance

City of Vancouver announced the line-up of the 2013 Riverview Six to Sunset Concert Series, the Terry Lee Noon Hour Concert Series at Esther Short Park and the Movies in the Park held in LeRoy Haagen Community Park, Fisher Basin, Marshall Community Center, and Esther Short Park.
This year, the Riverview Six to Sunset concerts will be celebrating 27 years of music in the park. Concerts start Thursday July 11 and run for six consecutive weeks with an additional concert on Thursday, Aug. 29. These free concerts begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. The concerts are presented by Riverview Community Bank with contributions from the Columbian, Corwin Beverage Company and Destination Downtown.

The Terry Lee Noon Concerts start Wednesday July 10 and run for six consecutive weeks. These free concerts begin at noon and end at 1 p.m. Science in the Park kids’ activities will be provided by the Water Education Resource Center. These concerts are presented by Vancouver attorney Terry Lee and are supported with contributions from the Columbian, Corwin Beverage Company and Destination Downtown.

The Friday Night Movies in the Park start on Friday, July 12th, and run for six consecutive weeks. These free movies begin at dusk, with activities starting at 7 p.m.
