Diamond Tea honors mission-driven entrepreneurs

Vancouver, Wash.– As a female business owner, Angela Maitland knows the challenges of running a business while also raising a family and being involved in the community. This understanding inspired her to create The Diamond Tea event for women entrepreneurs to come together to reflect, share and celebrate themselves and each other.
The 5th annual Diamond Tea will take place Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Nines Hotel in Portland from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
“The Diamond Tea provides inspirational stories, concrete skills, reflective time and meaningful guidance to help women pursue their dreams,” said Angela Maitland, Diamond Tea Founder and owner of Quintessential Productions. “We hope the event empowers each woman to discover what most aligns with her skills, passions and mission in life.”
While enjoying a modern English-style High Tea, attendees will hear from female entrepreneurs speakers who have harnessed their creativity to run successful businesses, network with women-owned businesses and celebrate a woman who will receive the Quintessential Woman Award for her inspiring actions.
This year’s speakers are:

  • Dyana Canavan & Kristy Surovic, YEEPA Inc.
  • Kim Foren, Geranium Lake
  • Barbara Kite, Executive Speaking and Acting Coach
  • Sameera Sullivan, Lasting Connections
