There is a Northwest culture…and a Northwest fashion style.
Seattle-based Northwest Clothing has made great strides on the fashion side with fresh designs and perspectives from Pacific Northwest creatives.
The independently owned and operated apparel company aims to promote and preserve Pacific Northwest culture. The retail store is located in the International District Chinatown, one of the most historical neighborhoods in Seattle.
The store is currently partnering with local artist Malcolm Proctor to present North West x Wolfdelux featuring Proctor’s dyed, one-of-a kind designs. Procter is a self taught multidisciplinary artist from Seattle Washington. His shapes and symbols evoke African mud cloth, a style of dyed fabric traditional in Mali.
Proctor’s work decorates many boarded up businesses throughout Seattle. When businesses began boarding up their storefronts this year, Proctor took to work with his art.
