EMP to host Fashionably Undead Prom

prom_queenFor those age 21 and older Experience Music Projects Fashionably Undead Prom promishes a night of goulish delights on Saturday, October 22 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the museum. The cost is $25 or $19 for members.
The invitation reads: Dive into EMP Museum for a night of ghastly amusement and hair-raising fun at our annual Fashionably Undead Prom.
Everyone is invited to masquerade as their favorite crazy, weird character (or just be yourself).  Be ready to jive, jitterbug, and twist the night away to a DJ dance party and enjoy live music by Prom Queen, playing sickly sweet pop tracks inspired by pinup girls and 1960s housewives.
Get a bouffant or pompadour from Bowie Salon and show it off at our prom photo booth. Munch on a slice of pizza from Wicked Pies or sneak drinks of spiked punch. Throughout the night, have fun roaming the museum with your pals as you try to solve the interactive yearbook game.
Plus, enter the costume contest for a chance to win killer prizes and to show off your deadly cool duds! You may just be voted Prom King or Queen.
Ticket includes admission to Can’t Look Away: The Lure of Horror Film.
Need costume ideas? Prom zombie (prombie), bloody prom queen, geeky ruffled tuxedo guy, Barnabas Collins, Norman Bates, teenage James Dean or Marilyn Monroe, Marty McFly, Dr. Emmett Brown, Lorraine McFly, Biff, or Vincent Price—and you can’t go wrong with the classic undead Prom King or Queen.
