Get lifted at Crystal Mountain

Take a gondola ride and enjoy a hearty lunch at the Summit House atop the 6,872-foot Crystal Mountain.

The Mt. Rainier Gondola lifts you 2,400 vertical feet to the summit for views of Mt. Ranier and the Cascade Range. Stop at the Summit House for pizza, pasta, soups, chili and fresh salads.

The gondolas offer scenic rides during the summer and winter seasons. In the summer months, cruise over wildflower fields and mountain streams. You can order advance tickets online.

Dog lovers will be glad to know that Crystal Mountain Resort is dog-friendly during the summer season. Leashed dogs are welcome on the gondola and on the trails. Mt. Rainier National Park does not allow dogs.

Lodging is available at Crystal Mountain Hotels, which operates three properties within walking distance of the gondola. Additionally, there are area condos, vacation rentals, cabins, and a resort.
