Improve skills, have fun at Timberline’s Summer Snow Camps

So you didn’t get enough skiing in this winter? I didn’t either. So, let’s plan a week skiing and/or boarding at one of four Timberline Summer Snow Camps this summer!
According to the website, Timberline is home to the most energetic summer snow scene on the planet. Everyone from Olympic athletes to up-and-coming racers, to freestyle enthusiasts descend on our Palmer Snowfield between the months of June and September.
Much of the terrain is reserved by various camps and organizations, but open areas on the South slopes of Mt. Hood are maintained for the public. See more at: http://www.timberlinelodge.com/ski-area/summer-snow/#sthash.thWadR1H.dpuf
Camp Director Steve Muise says Timberline has been offering summer camps for more than 20 years. Campers can sign up for six days of outrageous skiing and other fun stuff from June through August. The four camps include masters, performance family and freestyle.
Let’s take a look at the Masters Camp because most of us fall in the 21 and older demographic. Overnight sessions run from July 12 – July 19 and carry a price of $1,900 per person.
The package includes shared housing in one of our Chalet dorm rooms. These rooms are close to the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Room upgrades are available for an additional $150 – $260 a night (prices subject to change). There is a room credit that can be applied to your upgrade.
6-Day Day Camp – $690/person
July 13 – July 18
3-Day Day Camp – $375/person
July 13 – July 15
