Poskmarked pools on Lacamas Trails

The Lacamas Park Trails boost hikes through lakes, creeks, waterfalls and spectacular spring lily fields.

Begin your walk at Round Lake for one, three and five-mile moderate loop hikes. The 1.2-mile loop around the lake for views of the dam and Pothole Falls. The round, pockmarked pools, visible during summer low water, were created by swirling floodwaters.

The seven-mile Camas Lily Field loop offers forest and meadow views of the Camas lily blossoms in April.

The Lacamas Creek Trail at NE 3rd Avenue gives hikers views of the lower falls and the forested Lacamas Creek corridor. Venture on Goodwin Road to the trailhead at Heritage Park for the 3.5-mile hike along the western edge of Lacamas Lake.
