Canoeists, kayakers, and paddleboarders congregate at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, Wash., for demos, tours, races, and exhibits at the Northwest Paddling Festival on May 12 and 13.
This is the largest event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, featuring more than 60 paddle sports businesses offering canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, paddling equipment, accessories and gear. Attendance is free to the public. Tours and on-water demos cost $10 for the day.
