Pursuing new challenges in late in life

late life projects
These days, retirees live longer, are more active than previous generations and refuse to give up their busy schedules when they give up their jobs. It’s a pattern author Liz Davies knows all too well, inspiring her to write an uplifting book for seniors everywhere.
‘Pursuing Projects Late in Life’ is heavily based on Davies’ life; an adventure about committing to challenges, living with true purpose and being busier than ever before.
“Years ago, retirement meant slowing down and winding back on life’s hastiness,” explains Davies. “But today’s third-age generation see it as a release into freedom; an opportunity to do things they have always dreamed of without the bungee-cord of work and growing children tying up their time. My book is one that will hopefully empower readers to find that challenge they have always craved, commit to it and be happier than they ever thought possible.”
Continuing, “Just think; people start to cruise multiple times a year, learn new languages and even move abroad or go old wild expeditions; it’s a far cry from the retirement our parents lived. But still, many people are not content with just playing golf on a Tuesday and eating at the same pub each Saturday lunchtime. This story is for them.”
