Run, plant tree at Seattle Earth Day April 22

Environment

Bring the kids to participate in one of Seattle’s most sacred events – Seattle’s Earth Day Run on April 22nd (Earth Day) at 10am at Magnuson Park! Come run or walk one of the many race distances and at the same time you can feel good about supporting the environment. This event takes action both locally and globally.

Each finisher will receive a native sapling tree + an additional tree will be planted in your name. Over the years at our Earth Day events organizers have handed out thousands of trees that grow and sequester more and more carbon each year. On top of all that they will also be recycle running shoes you don’t want anymore so don’t forget to bring them so we can donate them to Africa. Tell your friends and come out for this great event!

Day of race registration and bib pick up: 8:30am-9:45am

Kids Dash: 9:45am

All events: 10am

5k & 10k top 3 Awards Ceremony: 11am

15k & Half top 3 Awards Ceremony: Noon

Post Race Tree Planting: 10:30-1pm
