Juneau Food Tours is giving travelers a taste of the city from their homes.
Owner Midgi Moore recently launched Taste Alaska!, an online subscription box featuring made-in-Alaska products. Each box comes with smoked salmon, kelp hot sauce, locally sourced tea and spruce tip caramels. Additionally, the box will feature photography by award-winning Alaska photographer Mark Kelley.
Other restaurants in Juneau with new online services include the Alaskan Fudge Company, offering up assorted chocolate boxes and pounds of fudge for shipping. The Alaska Seafood Company also has a variety of frozen halibut and salmon available for purchase with free shipping. Juneau’s local coffee shop, Heritage Coffee Roasting Co., is able to ship its coffee beans for a taste of the capital city’s brew.
