It’s time to pre-register for the 25th Annual Chalk Art Festival on Sept. 19, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will take place at Valley Art Gallery on Wednesday, September 16 from 5-7 p.m. at 2022 Main Street, Forest Grove, Oregon.
The Chalk Festival will take place on Sat., Sept 19 and is hosted by the Valley Art Institute.
Anyone can take part in the fun, no matter what their artistic skills might be. It is great to see the creative drawings taking shape throughout the day and to stroll the downtown blocks after the event to see the wonderful artwork.
Joe the Balloon Guy, Una Voz, singers/guitarists Kirk Larson & Don Patch, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Band, The Nouns with Ian Lindsay, and Big Mama Gayle and her Sugar Daddies will entertain throughout the day to liven up the activities.
The cost is $7 for Valley Art Members, $12 for non-members, and includes a tray of brilliant colorful chalk and a square of downtown Forest Grove sidewalk for the day. There is no charge to observe!
The event is open to all, rain or shine. There is no judging, only admiration.
