Thompson Seattle offers luxury with waterfront views

Hotel water viewThompson Seattle opened in June, giving downtown Seattle a contemporary urban landmark against a Cascadian mountain backdrop.
Seattle-based Olson Kundig Architects designed the luxury boutique hotel with commanding vistas across the skyline to the Sound and the Public Market below.
The floor-to-ceiling windows looking upon Pike Place Market and across Puget Sound to the Olympic Mountains. The great height of the rooms was inspired by the spirit of aviation and infused with the warmth of hardwood floors and mid-century inspired style.
Thompson Seattle is located in the heart of Seattle between Belltown and Downtown on the northeast corner of Stewart Street and 1st Avenue, a bustling yet walkable street lined with cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. Walkable, too, are the waterfront, museums, local landmarks and nightlife.
