Nostalgia Hits The Airwaves!
Local Broadcaster Gerald Gaule has “switched” formats on his small Microbroadcasting Outlet on AM 1700 from Oldies to Nostalgia Programming.
AM 1700 offers Old Time Radio shows from 1929-62(over 12,000 Titles) and playing Music from the 30’s to the 60’s, which includes Easy Listening, Big Band, Swing, Jazz and More.
AM 1700 is Owned and Operated by Gerald Gaule, but according to Gaule “AM 1700 is part of The Omni Media Networks Family in Portland Oregon, which is a 503c non-profit organization that serves The Visually-Impaired, The Disabled and Older Individuals with News,Information,Education and Entertainment”.
Gaule is also a volunteer with Omni. AM 1700 is also on the web and it is easy to find. AM 1700 IS A Low Power broadcaster and is limited due to FCC Rules and Regulations.
