Okay paddlers and potential paddlers, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. head to Vancouver Lake Park April 29 and 30 for the 25th Annual Spring Paddle Festival . Look for more than 100 boats ready to try.
Those who haven’t had enough paddling or couldn’t make it earlier, head to the 5th Annual Jantzen Beach Jamboree on Saturday, April 29th from 4-7 pm.
During the two-day festival look for a full schedule of clinics both days such as “Which Boat is right for Me?” and “Local Paddling Destinations.” Also learn and try SUP (stand up paddling), basic canoeing and even how to cartop your boat. Of course, both days participants will enjoy ample time to test out the equipment and ask questions of the experts.
