After all the rain and cold, it’s time to dream of paddle sports and beer! Thos who are so inclined can attend the 24th Annual Spring Paddle Festival on April 23 and 24 at the Vancouver Lake Park.
There will be more than 100 boats to admire and tryout. Also enjoy kayak, SUP and canoe demos all day.
In additioin, on Saturday, April 23 from 4-7 pm, join the fun and free music and beer event at the 4th Annual Jantzen Beach Jamboree.
Both Saturday and Sunday boast similarly full schedules of free classes and events.
For example, at 11:00 am on Saturday look for these activities: Local Paddling Destinations,
Kayak Fishing, Stand Up Paddling 101 and Choosing the Perfect Paddle.
At 11:30 am try SUP Yoga, What Floats your Boat, Car Topping your Kayak or Canoe & SUP instruction.
