Wolf Creek Inn takes you back in time

Portland sister-brother-duo Andrew and Jessie Shroyer recreated the 1883 classic revival style of Wolf Creek Inn and reopened its doors in 2018.

The inn has served travelers off the Applegate Trail (now Interstate 5) since the late 1800s. Throughout its lifetime, the Inn has hosted many celebrities, including Clark Gable, Jack London and Orson Welles.

Interpretive panels depicting life on the Applegate Trail decorate the front of the inn. Visitors are welcome to take ranger-guided tours and self-guided tours of the inn. The inn features a tavern that serves homemade southern comfort food Friday-Sunday. There is also a fully functioning Inn with nine guest rooms and two bunk rooms. The redesign included modern-day luxuries like Parklane Mattresses and blackout curtains.
