Children’s Day Festival (Kodomo no Hi) comes to Seattle on Sunday, May 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of WA. The free event features demonstrations of martial arts, a tea ceremony, dance show, hands-on taiko drumming, Samurai armor and yukata dress up, stories, and food trucks.
The Kodomo no Hi festival is an opportunity to experience multiculturalism while celebrating the health and growth of all children.
