Influenced by jazz, blues, rock, folk, and Americana, the New West Guitar Group has emerged as one of the only musical groups to combine electric and acoustic guitar to perform new compositions and original arrangements of contemporary songs by the Police, Tears for Fears, Simon and Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, and more. The cutting-edge Los Angeles-based trio is on an international tour for their new album Big City.

Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra presents Anat Cohen

Internationally celebrated clarinet phenom, Anat Cohen, joins the SRJO to present a world view of great jazz from New Orleans, to Latin America, Eastern Europe, Israel, and beyond.
Now celebrating its 20th concert season, the award-winning, 17-piece Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra (SRJO) is the Northwest’s premier big band jazz ensemble, co-directed by drummer Clarence Acox, nationally recognized director of bands at Seattle’s Garfield High School, and saxophonist/arranger Michael Brockman, long-time faculty member at the University of Washington School of Music.
