Tri-Cities welcomes outdoor, wine lovers

grapesAs we move into early spring, the dismal grey of the coast gets to some of us. That is a good time to visit Tri-Cities, which is made up of Pasco, Kennewick and Richlancd. We are talking about flat fields and the wildest remaining part of the Columbia River.
The tourism materials report that Souutheast Washington boasts 300 sun filled days and lots to do year round. Recreation and sports enthusiasts will love everything there is to do in Tri-Cities, including bicycling, bowling, hunting, and soccer, as well as fishing, water-skiing and paddling on the Columbia, Snake, and Yakima rivers.
Also, Tri-Cities has been called the “Heart of Washington Wine Country.” It boasts more than 200 wineries within a 50-mile radius, producing some of the finest wines in the world, thanks to the climate and geography of the area.
