PORTLAND-Locally owned GruntWorks is offering a contest for homeowners with long To-Do lists this spring. The winner will receive 12 hours of labor, a value of $900.
A GruntWorks Personal Home Assistant takes the project details and comes back with several bids from pre-screened, bonded and insured service providers, then makes sure the work gets done as promised. GruntWorks officials said the company guarantees the work for a year.
“I know when something needs to be repaired or replaced, homeowners can get that overwhelming ‘I-don’t-know-where-to-start’ feeling,” says Scott Fouser, who founded GruntWorks in 2011. “There’s anxiety around the uncertainty of whether you are getting what you truly need from the right provider at a fair price.”
