Cascade Lakes Relay expands

Cascade Relays is adding a new race to compliment the extremely popular and sold-‐out Cascade Lakes Relay (CLR). This new event, which will be hosted on the same days as the sold-‐out CLR, has been named CLR24.
CLR24 is a relay within a relay!
This overnight relay will consist of teams of 8-‐12 runners starting from Silver Lake, OR (CLR exchange point 12) on Friday, July 31, completing the final 24 legs of the original CLR course. The 132 mile CLR24 course will allow teams not selected from the CLR lottery in October the opportunity to experience the beautiful course and spirit of CLR and enjoy the Finish Line Brew Fest at Riverbend Park in Bend.
CLR24 teams will receive all of the same amenities, finisher’s shirt, medal, contests and prizes, etc. as the original CLR race participants. Teams of 6-‐12 runners will be accepted, providing the opportunity for teams to experience CLR and run fewer legs; potentially opening up the CLR experience to runners who aren’t fully physically prepared for the 216-‐ mile challenging course, that is currently one of the longest overnight relays in the US.
Registration for CLR24 is now open on the Cascade Lakes Relay website at www.cascadelakesrelay.com
