Juneau is getting in on the virtual travel trend by highlighting experiences around the city using various mediums. Travel Juneau’s YouTube channel posts videos that highlight adventures around the city like kayaking near humpbacks and Juneau’s food scene.

Take a virtual hike through one of Juneau’s many popular trails, including the Perseverance Trail, which boasts views of Mt. Juneau and Mt. Roberts. The Herbert Glacier Trail and Mendenhall Refuge Trail offer views of glaciers on the virtual hike and are local favorites to visit in person.

For those searching for Juneau’s waterfront views, enjoy a 24/7 livestream of the Juneau Harbor. The camera pans across the water and gives views of downtown as well. Additionally, the Juneau-Douglas City Museum has uploaded a selection of exhibits to its Facebook page for virtual viewing.
