Medford: Celebrate Southern Oregon’s Chinese

March 12, 2016, 10 a.m.- 9 p.m.
Rogue Valley Mall
1600 N. Riverside Avenue, Medford, OR,
The Southern Oregon Historical Society proudly announces Courage in the Golden Valley: Chinese History in Southern Oregon, the Society’s third annual exhibit.
Timed to coincide with Jacksonville’s Chinese New Year Celebration, the Society has drawn upon new research, including local archaeology, to tell the history of the Chinese in Southern Oregon. Amongst the first settlers to arrive, they helped shape the region as it grew into the unique, complex community we live in today.
Courage in the Golden Valley tells more about the lives and accomplishments of the Chinese through their own voices. Exhibit admittance is free, but we certainly accept donations! Mon-Saturday, 10am-9pm.
