Vintage & Art Faire enlivens Camas

Painting
Painting by Heidi Curley
The 9th annual Vintage and Art Faire will return to the charming tree-lined streets of downtown Camas Saturday, Aug. 26 from 9am-3pm.
This event brings over 60 vintage, antique, and local art vendors that fill the downtown streets with vintage, antique, repurposed, and artful offerings.
Vintage vendors will bring a large variety of indoor and outdoor furniture and home and garden items as well as clothing and accessories. Art selections include professional quality paintings, metal work, garden art, photography, handmade jewelry, fiber art, recycled art, and more. The faire is on 4th Avenue and Birch Streets, near Camas Antiques, 305 NE 4th Avenue.
Bret Malmquist will perform jazz guitar music from 10am-12pm and the Carol Rossio Jazz Trio with many songs in French will perform from 12:30pm-3:00pm.
“This is a lovely event in our downtown,” says Carrie Schulstad, executive director of the Downtown Camas Association (DCA). “It has a relaxing, strolling feel and it’s enjoyable to peruse the booths and talk with all the local vintage vendors and artists. There is a diverse vintage and antique selection and the local art is exceptional.”
